More on Moore's Vaughan Foods Beheading

Posted on 6:48 AM by Gawar
There are more developments in the beheading that occurred in Moore, Oklahoma. (Please see my first posting on this event, here.)

As you will recall, it was reserve police officer and the chief operating officer Mark Vaughan of Vaughan Foods who was declared a hero for stopping the accused suspect from attacking anyone any further.

As far as the twilight language is concerned, perhaps most intriguing is that the Vaughan family crest is three disembodied heads. (This information was conveyed to me by a member of the Vaughan clan overnight, whom I thank.)

The story behind the Vaughan creat involves a tale that syncs with the beheadings.

The above (modern) version of the Vaughan head in their crest was done by artist Tony Barton.

One version of the origin tale for the Vaughans is that the triad of heads "represents a group of Saxon boys being strangled or beheaded - the usual appearance is in a group of three heads." Source.

Something this way wicked comes....

Alton Alexander Nolen definitely appears to have engaged in a copycat beheading, based on his viewing of the ISIS and related beheadings noted often in the media. The "copycat" theme is even being acknowledged by alternative news sites (see here).

Oklahoma beheading suspect Alton Alexander Nolen calls himself “Jah’Keem Yisrael” on his Facebook page, where he uploaded photos of himself reading the Koran and wearing Muslim religious clothing. Source.
Earlier this year, Nolen, whose Facebook 'cover' photo appears to show several Taliban fighters, posted a photo of the 9/11 attacks, writing: 'A future prophecy revelation 18.8. She (the Statue of Liberty) is going into flames. She and anybody who's with her'. Source.

Moore and More Beheadings

Posted on 10:01 AM by Gawar

A man has beheaded a woman, Colleen Hufford, 54, after a workplace dispute in Moore, Oklahoma, U.S. law enforcement officials told CNN on September 26, 2014. The suspect also tried to kill another woman.

The suspect reportedly worked at Vaugan Foods in Moore and had been trying to convert his co-workers to Islam. The FBI is actively investigating the case. KFOR reports that the Feds are targeting the religious elements of the case.

The incident happened late Thursday afternoon, at 4:15 pm, September 25, 2014, at a Vaughan Foods processing plant at 216 NE 12th St # A in Moore, in Cleveland County, which is located about 10 miles south of Oklahoma City. The plant is located between a railroad trackway and Messenger Road.

There were no immediate indications of a link to terrorism, officials said.
A sheriff's deputy shot the suspect, identified by officials as 30-year-old Alton Alexander Nolen (shown above). Nolen was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Nolen was shot and subdued by an off-duty Oklahoma County reserve deputy, Mark Vaughan, who was working security at Vaughan Foods.

Nolen has ties to the Bell meme:

In 2009, court records indicate that Nolen (born August 16, 1984) living in Idabel, Oklahoma. Formerly, the post office there had been named was called Bokhoma (Choctaw for "Red River"), when opened on December 15, 1902. Railroad officials then chose the name Idabel, a compound of the names of Isaac Purnell's two daughters, Ida and Bell. The post office was then renamed Idabel. (H/T to BT.)

His criminal records also note he may have attended the traditional black college of Langston University, which is located in Logan County, Oklahoma. Two of his felonies were of selling pot in Logan County, in or near Langston, Oklahoma. I talked about the Logan name in July.

More and more beheadings appear to be in store for the West's immediate future.

The Moore beheading followed the release on September 23, 2014, of a new ISIS related beheading video.

French tourist Hervé Gourdel was beheaded by Algerian militant group Jund al-Khilafa following his abduction in the north-east Kabylie region. He was a 55-year-old qualified mountain guide.

A few sites have identified Gourdel's shirt as an Illuminati pyramid t-shirt. No confirmation of that fact has been made.

Hervé Gourdel was captured by the Islamist ISIS-aligned group while hiking in the Djurdjura National Park on Sunday, one day after he arrived for a 10-day walking holiday. The park is located in Kabylie and is named after the Djurdjura Range of the Tell Atlas, Algeria. The Roman Empire used to call it Iron mountain in Latin (Montus Ferratus). The name Djurdjura is also used for the villages located in this mountain chain. Mmis n'Djerdjer means "children of the Djurdjura," which is a Kabyle word referring to mountain inhabitants; there is also a Kabyle female group called DjurDjura.

Ancient reports of a tribe of Amazons in Libya may be related to this Algerian female group.
According to several historical records, the Libyan birthplace of the Goddess Neith was also the traditional homeland of the warrior women known as the Libyan Amazons, in the western parts of Libya, particularly around the legendary Lake Tritonis (southern Tunisia today). The etymology of the name "Amazon" is still undecided, with European enthusiasts deriving the name from Greek Muse, and Berberists linking it with Amazigh and Tamezyant. Source.

Weird Pitchfork Incident #2

Posted on 11:46 AM by Gawar

There's been another encounter of the pitchfork kind, and it happened before the Ohio authorities released the information about T. J. Lane escaping from prison with a pitchfork. Lane had a pitchfork with him during his 9/11 escape, but the public did not know about it until the evening of September 15, 2014.

Oklahoma City resident Shaun D. Walsh, 41, was arrested much earlier (around 12:30 am) on Monday, September 15, 2014. He was charged with punching his ex-girlfriend and chasing her with a pitchfork - technically domestic assault with a dangerous weapon and malicious injury and destruction of property.

The events occurred in the 2800 block of SW Grand Blvd, near South May Street, on the south side of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
According to the victim, Walsh said, “F*** you, b****. You get what you deserve,” as he punched her. After he stopped punching, the victim told police Walsh went into another room of the home and grabbed a three-prong pitchfork. She said he began chasing her around the house before she could make it out the front door. Once outside Walsh demanded the victim give him the keys to her car. She refused, and that's when she said Walsh used the pitchfork to break the passenger side window to her car. He then dropped the pitchfork and left the scene on foot, according to News9.com.
Police caught up with Walsh and took him to Southwest Medical Center to be medically cleared before he was transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.

(Thanks to Todd Campbell for the news hint.)

Aurora Name Game & FedEx

Posted on 5:56 AM by Gawar

Aurora, again?

The Rambo-style shooting at a FedEx facility in Kennesaw, Georgia, Cobb County, made news on April 29, 2014, leaving one dead and six injured.

That called forth this summary from correspondent Robert Sullivan:
March 21st, a FedEx triple tractor trailer seemingly loses control and crashes. Killing 2 people.
7 days later, March 28th a FedEx employee in Nevada, is fatally shot making deliveries.
13 days later, April 10th a FedEx tractor trailer seemingly loses control and crashes into a bus full of high school seniors, killing 10 people.
19 days later, April 29th 19 year old package handler at FedEx arms himself "like Rambo" and shoots 6 people. Injuring 2 critically.

39 days, 13 deaths, one company, FedEx.
The Christian Science Monitor also noted, when the California bus was hit by the FedEx truck, that...
In mid-February, a FedEx truck making a pick up in Sweetwater, Texas, caught fire. Later that month, a FedEx tractor trailer caught fire and was totally destroyed along I-81 near Roanoke, Virginia. In March, a FedEx truck fire shut down a portion of I-80 near Park City, Utah.
Now comes another one for the FedEx file from RS:

On Wednesday morning, April 30, 2014, two Oklahomans were identified as those killed in a traffic accident that involved a FedEx semi-trailer truck (pictured at top) a mile west of Greensburg.

Aurora Diane Balch, 35, and Donald Anthony Barrs, 27, both of Weatherford, Oklahoma, were killed in an accident shortly after 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 54 and U.S. 183 in Kiowa County, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

Balch was driving a 2006 Chrysler north on U.S. 183 when she failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. There is a sign at that location that requires U.S. 183 traffic to stop.

The westbound semi struck the Chrysler on the passenger side, where Barrs was sitting. The impact sent both vehicles in a ditch north of U.S. 54.

The semi was operated by FedEx, a highway patrol dispatcher said. The FedEx driver, Anibal Ruiz-Figueroa, 58, of Stratford, Texas, had "possible injuries."

Please note that the driver killed was yet another Aurora. I have written extensively about the moniker Aurora, see, for example, another 2014 incident and from 2012, "Understanding Aurora." The Aurora twilight name game has been on many of our minds since The Dark Knight Rises killings at Aurora, Colorado.

Kiowa County was named after the group of individuals who used the name as a self-referencing term Ka'igwu, meaning "Principal People." Another explanation of their name "Kiowa" originated after their migration through what the Kiowa refer to as "The Mountains of the Kiowa" (Kaui-kope) in the present eastern edge of Glacier National Park, Montana. In Oklahoma, in 1892, the Jerome Commission began enrolling the Kiowas, Comanches and Apaches to prepare for the opening of their reservation to settlement by whites. Kiowa County was formed in 1907. The name shows up, in good twilight lexilinking fashion, via Kiowa Gordon, an actor in three of The Twilight Saga movies.

The City of Aurora, Colorado, is in Arapahoe County, and the suspect, James Holmes, was held in the Arapahoe County detention center.

FedEx trucks and planes are involved in several relatively
underpublicized crashes, of course.

This FedEx semi truck caught fire after a crash August 29, 2012, in Aurora, Indiana. The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. in front of the Taco Bell on U.S. 50. The Taco Bell was briefly evacuated while crews put out the semi truck fire. (This is not the first time we've seen this combination of names. See "La Belle Aurore: Casablanca & Looper.")

On Tuesday, May 6, 2014, a FedEx employee riding a golf cart in the FedEx facility at Shawnee, Kansas, died when he fell off the cart.

Tuesday's accident is the third fatal incident at this same FedEx Ground sorting facility since March 2013. Links to previous reports can be found below.

Tulsa: Five Injured in Hmong New Year Shooting and Two Killed at Former Dragon's Lair

Posted on 5:10 AM by Gawar

There was a shooting in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on the evening of October 12, 2012. You may hear little about it, as it happened among a closed ethnic group. This time of year is in the midst of the traditional three days of in-house Hmong New Year rituals, which are followed in some communities by seven days of "outside" activities.

A man walked in and opened fire at one such Hmong New Year's celebration in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 12th, Saturday night, injuring five people of the 400 there, local police said.
Authorities don't know what caused the man to begin shooting inside the Green Country Event Center, near Highway 169, at 12000 East 31st Street.

Two Hmong celebrating (between 30-60) were hit in the upper body, while the other three were struck in the arm and leg, said Tulsa Police Captain Mike Williams. One person probably will lose the use of the lower leg.

Nhia Vang, 75, told reporters that the gunman opened fire six feet away from him after a toast. One bullet went through his shirt, but he was uninjured – although the police took the garment as evidence, the Tulsa World reported.

One suspect was said to be firing from a car, with another driving. A passenger was observed changing clothes, then throwing his hoodie and a gun from the car.

Police believe the passenger, 19-year-old Ming Mee, was the shooter. Both he and the driver, 21-year-old Boon Mee, were arrested. A 40-caliber semi-automatic handgun was recovered.

The Hmong (seen in traditional dress above, in Vietnam, 2004) are an Asian ethnic group from the mountainous regions of China, Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. American soldiers would characterize them as the "hill people" of the Vietnam War, and understand them to be loyal allies.

This memorial, in honor of Hmong service, is in front of the Fresno County Court House, in downtown Fresno, California. (Photograph credit: Prayitno.)

As CNN noted in reporting the Tulsa shooting, "The Hmongs are an Asian ethnic group. There are an estimated 210,000 Hmongs scattered across the united States. They were an important U.S. ally during the Vietnam War. Many fled the Communist government when combat ended."

In the 1960s and 1970s, many Hmong were secretly recruited by the American CIA to fight against communism during the Vietnam War. After American armed forces pulled out of Vietnam, a communist regime took over in Laos, and ordered the prosecution and re-education of all those who had fought against its cause during the war. Whilst many Hmong are still left in Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and China (which houses one of the biggest Hmong populations in the world, 5 million), since 1975 many Hmong have fled Laos in fear of persecution, coming to the USA, as well as other Western countries.

This Hmong shooting comes in the wake of the Vietnam-styled self-immolation of Vietnam vet John Constantino on the National Mall in Washington D.C., which took place on the October 4th anniversary of the beginning of the US bombing of Cambodia.

Elsewhere in Tulsa, another multiple shooting occurred on Saturday, October 12th, due to a fight at a night spot (Reverb, above, formerly the Dragon's Lair, below).

(Dragon exists in Hmong folktales and many Hmong believe dragon actually exists. There are two types of dragons according to the Hmong elders: the River Dragon and Land Dragon. River Dragon are considered the evil one while Land Dragon are considered a luck if you see them. There is absolutely no known link between the Hmong New Year shooting and the former Dragon's Lair shooting. The synch is merely being pointed out.)

Two men shot at Reverb were pronounced dead following the late night incident that left two others injured. According to a police report, a fight broke out in the parking lot of the after hours club around 3 a.m. near 5500 E. 11th Street.

A 21-year-old Marrico McGuire was transported to a Tulsa hospital and was later pronounced dead at the hospital as a result of his injuries. A second unidentified victim has since died. This individual's name online has been reported to be "Dave Muse."

Additional temporal note:  The Chicago Marathon occurs on Sunday, 10-13-13, the first major American marathon since the Boston Marathon bombing almost exactly 6 months ago. Reportedly, security is extremely heightened at that event.

Maine & Oklahoma: Freak Fatal Fourth of July Incidents

Posted on 5:39 PM by Gawar
Today's celebrations are suppose to be uneventful and fun. In two communities, fatal events made it a stressful day across the United States.

A joyful Fourth of July celebration in Bangor, Maine, turned tragic when a man fired dozens of shots at police during a four-hour standoff, forcing the rerouting of the town’s parade, and a man driving a tractor in the parade was later killed in a freak accident.
The suspect in the standoff, Perrin Oliver, 43 of Bangor, described as despondent by police, was arrested about 12:20 p.m. at his home on Park Street near where the parade usually ends.
Oliver was transported to the Penobscot County Jail and charged with criminal threatening and aggravated reckless conduct with a firearm, Bangor Police Sergeant Paul Edwards said in a statement.
No injuries were reported during the incident, which began about 8:30 a.m., although the shooter allegedly fired close to 40 rounds of ammunition, said Bangor Police Sergeant Catherine Rumfey.
The Bangor police special response team completely shut down the area and asked residents to either leave or stay indoors, said Edwards.
Oliver allegedly fired at officers out his apartment window, said Edwards. The police department’s robot and response team officers fired tear gas into the suspect’s apartment before arresting Oliver, said Edwards. The police seized a handgun as evidence and the department is investigating, said Edwards.
At 12:40 p.m., shortly after Oliver’s arrest, the fatal accident happened during the parade at Main and Water streets. An officer on the scene reported that a man operating a green tractor turned right onto Water Street and was struck from behind by a vintage Bangor Hose 5 Fire Museum fire truck. Source.
The name "Perrin" comes from the same root word for "Peter," meaning "rock," and some have said that "Perrin" means "little rock."

"Bangor" is from the Irish, "Beannchar," meaning "uncertain."

Bangor has suffered it's fair share of "accidents, natural disasters and infamous incidents."

It was unclear if the change of the July 4, 2013 parade route contributed to the wreck and the fatality.

Meanwhile, another fatality occurred at another July 4th parade. An 8-year-old boy riding in a Fourth of July parade in central Oklahoma died Thursday after his father accidentally ran him over. Source.
According to police, [the boy] was riding on a martial arts group's float at Edmond's LibertyFest. At some point he either fell or jumped off. Then the truck and trailer, which was loaded with bales of hay, struck him. Unfortunately, the driver couldn't see the boy and ran over him. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police Officer James Hamm says the driver was not being reckless or violating laws. "It's just a freak, unfortunate accident." Source.

The Mystery Meridian's Tornado Deaths

Posted on 8:17 PM by Gawar

In Weird America (New York: EP Dutton, 1978), Jim Brandon introduces the concept of The Mystery Meridian. Brandon identifies a series of curiosities and oddities that are "overwhelmingly concentrated along a north-south axis between the ninety-seventh and ninety-eighth meridians of longitude, give or take a few miles on either side."

Brandon especially documents the weirdness along this Mystery Meridian in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. But he also states that strange sites are to be found as the "line extends as far north as the Dakotas."
The Mystery Meridian is centered along Interstate 35, for half its length, in the South.

In Kansas, the Mystery Meridian was especially active late in 1973 and early in 1974, with a rash of cattle mutilations, especially in Ottawa County, the home of the Rock City's 200 strange unexplained spheres. That county is also the location of Delphos, where in 1879 ice fell from the sky, then on July 16, 1976 a phantom panther was sighted, and later during that same July 1974 for the flap of the Delphos "Wolfgirl." In 1897, there were the Kansas visitations of the mystery airships near Belleville (see also Bell name game), along this bizarre meridian.

In Texas, the Mystery Meridian splits and involves Dallas - and all the phenomena that is linked to that location. But perhaps one of the best names for a site along the Mystery Meridian is at Meridian, Texas. On April 13, 1976, there was an inexplicable fall of dead white pelicans from the sky at Meridian.

In Oklahoma we discover, up and down the Mystery Meridian, a virtual explosion of weirdness clusters. Allow me to summarize:
*Crescent - Kerr-McGee Corporation is one of the few plutonium packing facilities in the country - and it was here that the infamous killing of Karen Silkwood occurred in November 1974; Government agents investigated whether "stolen" plutonium from the Crescent plant ended up with Texas devil worshipers who were mutilating cattle.
*El Reno - In May 1971, an unknown anthropoid was reported to be stealing chickens and left an apelike print on a coop; it was called the "Abominable Chicken Man of El Reno," and I was involved with investigating and discussing it with the Oklahoma City Zoo director.
*Enid - Three people who "by coincidence" were allegedly linked to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln all ended up in Enid: (1) David E. George, who claimed he was really John Wilkes Booth, died by poisoning at the Enid hotel here on January 13, 1903; (2) Boston Corbett, who reportedly was the army sergeant who rushed the Maryland barn and said he killed the original John Wilkes Booth, lived in Enid; and (3) also a resident here was said to be the former property manager who opened the window for Booth, allowing him to escape from Ford's Theater, after shooting Lincoln.
*Oklahoma City - The OKC bombing and other incidents start a long list for Oklahoma City. Weirder are the reports of an 1897 Airship seen here, a July 7, 1947 "flying saucer" sighting, and a November 1901 crocodilian (4.5 ft long) found in the Canadian River, in nearby Norman.

Today, death and destruction visited the Mystery Meridian in Oklahoma, in the form of tornadoes.

The most damage seems to have focussed on Moore, Oklahoma, where the 1999 tornado also hit.

The path of the May 3, 1999 tornado.

On Monday, May 20, 2013, more than 51 people were killed by the massive tornado that hit the Oklahoma City area, the office of the state's chief medical examiner said. Several children were killed. At least 20 children are among the 51 people killed after a tornado slammed Oklahoma. Of those killed, seven have been confirmed as children from the Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, police said. At least 145 people were hospitalized in the area, said hospital officials.

The tornado leveled buildings, while cutting a wide path of destruction the scale of which is just starting to become clear. Rescue workers were digging through the rubble of an elementary school looking for trapped students

President Barack Obama told Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin the federal government "stands ready to provide all available assistance," a White House statement said.

The Monday storm came in the wake of destruction that hit the area on Sunday night.

Andrew Griffin at Red Dirt Report earlier today wrote, "Driving around the area near Dale, Bethel Acres and then back towards Lake Thunderbird and on into Norman, we criss-crossed the areas where the Sunday tornado had passed through. Twisted bits of metal, downed power poles and homes that were badly damaged by the destructive force of the tornado were clearly visible in these areas of Oklahoma, Pottawatomie and Cleveland counties.

"As we write this story, a new, powerful tornado formed west of Newcastle and went east-northeast, right through Moore and parts of the southside of Oklahoma City. The devastation is massive. People are injured, possibly dead. This is as bad – or at least more widespread in terms of damage – as the notorious May 3, 1999 tornado that hit Moore."

The Strange Syncs of the Church Bomb Suspect

Posted on 2:19 PM by Gawar
by Loren Coleman ©2012

“Mr. President, you can't say Dallas doesn't love you!”
~ Nellie Connally's last words to JFK.

Wait until you read of the swirls of syncs and conspiracies linked to a story that is breaking this weekend from Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

On Friday, October 5, 2012, police charged an Illinois man named Gregory Arthur Weiler II, after they discovered bomb-making materials and notes about destroying 48 churches in the Miami, Oklahoma, area, according to media accounts:
Miami police found detailed maps and torn-up pieces of paper in Weiler's motel room, according to an arrest affidavit filed in Ottawa County District Court.
The pieces of paper, when reassembled, were handwritten notes detailing a recipe for making Molotov cocktails and a list of 48 churches, the affidavit states.
The notes also included a hand-drawn map of the churches with a key detailing how many nights the congregations meet and how many people attend.
The Legacy Motel in Miami (pronounced My-AM-uh), Oklahoma,
where the evidence was discovered, is advertised to be "on the historical Route 66." (KOTV Video)

If you ever plan to motor west
Travel my way, take the highway that's the best
A-get your kicks on Route sixty-six

It winds from Chicago to LA
More than two thousand miles all the way
Get your kicks on Route sixty-six
~ Bob Troup

A journal found in Weiler’s motel room contained this entry:
Self Promote for the next 4 years while beginning list of goals written out in Oklahoma having to do with destroying and removing church buildings from U.S. a tiny bit at a time — setting foundation for the years to follow.
Literally mirroring the motel name, this man's legacy appears to be a disturbed one.

According to the Chicago Tribune,
Both his mother and father had committed suicide before he was 16, and Weiler had also tried to kill himself in 8th grade. He had been hospitalized for mental illness at least six times. In between, he had become addicted to heroin and alcohol.
When Weiler, 23, left several years ago to join a religious group in Missouri, his family knew they’d eventually hear that “Greg” had again gotten into trouble.
Why did both parents die by suicide about seven years ago? What is their story? What "religious group"? Where in Missouri? Oklahoma? Missouri? Illinois? Why all the different locales? Due to his mental illness? It probably, of course, is just a coincidence that his last name is Weiler, which means "village" or "small hamlet." This man's journey has been one of several small towns, and apparently personal hells.

Where in Illinois was Weiler from?

Most of the mass media articles say merely "Illinois." A few tell a bit more.

The Chicago Tribue noted, "Weiler checked into the [Oklahoma] motel on Sept. 20 using an Illinois driver’s license with an address in Washington, Ill., just east of Peoria."

Washington, Illinois, has an intriguing history. It was the location of a German POW subcamp beginning in 1943, during World War II, when a group of 50 prisons were moved from Camp Ellis in Fulton County, Illinois to Washington. The Germans were used in a canning factory (making K-ratios), a hospital, and even in local farms for the pumpkin harvest.

Some media, including a local Illinois newspaper the Daily Herald, point out that Weiler was "a former Elk Grove Village man."  Elk Grove Village is 145 miles away from Washington, Illinois. We are not talking about neighboring towns.

What do we know about Elk Grove Village?

Elk Grove Village? First, let's notice an area near here is heavily influenced and visually remembered as the land of Frank Lloyd Wright. Ten miles southeast of Elk Grove Village is the #1 tourist attraction in Oak Park, Illinois, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. Eleven miles southeast of Elk Grove Village is one of the most historical significant buildings that Wright ever built, the Unity Temple, a Unitarian Universalist church in Oak Park, Illinois, and the home of the Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

The Unity Temple has resulted in classic replicas of the structure, here from Edifice Models (above) and InFocusTech (below).

Who grows up in Elk Grove Village? I'll mention two musicians you may have heard of, Billy Corgan, lead singer and guitarist, and James Iha, guitarist, both of the The Smashing Pumpkins. (That's an intriguing sync to the harvesting of pumpkins by German POWs in Washington, Illinois.)

The Smashing Pumpkins's song "The End Is the Beginning Is the End," which won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance, was played during the Batman & Robin movie's closing credits.

One of the more well-known former residents of Elk Grove Village is Dave Cullen, the author of the nonfiction bestseller Columbine, which, of course, is about the infamous school shooting in Littleton, Colorado, of April 20, 1999. (Aurora has replaced Columbine in American consciousness for the dishonor of the mostly recently recalled pivotal Colorado mass shooting; lessons are to be learned from Cullen's book.)

Elk Grove Village, a planned hamlet

By contrast to the nearby Oak Park area of architectural prowess, Elk Grove Village may be an extreme example of the other end of the spectrum. Elk Grove Village, incorporated in 1956 in Elk Grove Township, was originally founded as a planned suburban community. The majority of homes were constructed by Centex Corporation.
Centex "planned suburban communities" exist throughout the USA.

Now you go through Saint Looey
Joplin, Missouri
And Oklahoma City looks mi-ighty pretty
You'll see Amarillo
Gallup, New Mexico
Flagstaff, Arizona
Don't forget Winona
Kingman, Barstow, San Bernandino
~ Bob Troup

What is Centex?

Noting to the side that it was founded in 1950, here is the total entry for Centex at Wikipedia: "Centex Corporation was a home builder headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company was acquired by rival Pulte Homes in 2009 for 1.6 billion dollars."

Who do you think owned and developed the programmed concepts behind Centex in the 1950s?

Centex was owned by Clinton Murchison. Clinton Williams Murchison, Sr. (April 11, 1895 – June 20, 1969), was a noted Texas-based oil magnate and political operative.

Murchison? Murchison? Where have I heard that name before?

“Mr. President, you can't say Dallas doesn't love you!”
~ Nellie Connally's last words to JFK.

Oh yes, Clinton Williams Murchison, Sr. is one of the names one hears in conspiracy circles as being linked to a possible Texas oilman-generated circle of friends, allegedly behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy. In Dallas. On November 22, 1963.
Clint W. Murchison Sr. was married twice—first to Anne Morris (b. 1898, d. 1926). They had three children: John Murchison (b. 9-21-1921, d. 6-14-1979 ), Clint Murchison, Jr. (b. 9-12-1923, d. 3-30-1987), and Burk Yarbrough Murchison (b. 1-25-1925, d.1936). Murchison married again in 1943 to Virginia Long. They had no children.
In the late 1940s, Murchison and another Texas oil mogul, Sid Richardson, met FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover. It was the start of a long friendship. In 1952 the two worked together to mount a smear campaign against Democratic presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson. Hoover and his close friend and companion, Clyde Tolson, also invested heavily in Murchison's oil business.

Murchison was friends with Madeleine Duncan Brown, an advertising agent who would later claim to have had an extended love affair and a son with President Lyndon B[aines] Johnson.
In an appearance on the television program A Current Affair, Brown asserted that on November 21, 1963 — the night before the assassination of President John F. Kennedy — she attended a social gathering at Murchison's home in Dallas that she described as "one of the most significant gatherings in American history." The gathering included guest of honor J. Edgar Hoover, Clyde Tolson, oil magnate H. L. Hunt, John J. McCloy, Richard Nixon, George R. Brown, Robert L. Thornton, and others from the Suite 8F Group, a network of right-wing businessmen. At the end the evening, the sitting Vice President of the United States Lyndon [Baines] Johnson also arrived. Sources 1, 2, 3.

According to Brown:
Tension filled the room upon [Johnson's] arrival. The group immediately went behind closed doors. A short time later Lyndon, anxious and red-faced, reappeared. I knew how secretly Lyndon operated. Therefore I said nothing ... not even that I was happy to see him. Squeezing my hand so hard, it felt crushed from the pressure, he spoke with a grating whisper, a quiet growl, into my ear, not a love message, but one I'll always remember: "After tomorrow those goddamn Kennedys will never embarrass me again — that's no threat — that's a promise." Sources 1, 2, 3.

A fictionalized meeting, modeled on the one that was suppose to have occurred involving Texas oil barons, is shown in the docudrama film, Executive Action (1973).

Clint Sr. was the father of Dallas Cowboys founding owner Clint Murchison, Jr. (September 12, 1923-March 30, 1987), for which Jr. is mostly known. He owned it from 1960-1984. But look at some of the other connections in the son's life, thanks, in part, to his father. Jr's inherited interests included the Daisy Manufacturing Company (manufacturing a BB gun); the Centex Corporation; Field and Stream magazine; Henry Holt and Company (later known as Holt, Rinehart, and Winston); Delhi Oil and a marine construction company known as Tecon Corporation. In 1952, Murchison joined a syndicate that included Everette Lee DeGolyer and Jack Crichton, both of Dallas, to use connections in the government of General Francisco Franco to obtain drilling rights in Spain.

From an arrest for planning to bomb almost 50 churches in Oklahoma in 2012, back to the 1963 Kennedy assassination in Texas, and General Francisco Franco in 1952. Syncs are fascinating, and, yes, sometimes unbelievable. But they were there, like a map of dots connected to this young 23-year-old.

Many questions remain about the life of Gregory Arthur Weiler II, especially concerning the "religious group" in Missouri, and the death of his parents. What we do know is that from his origins in the programmed community of Elk Grove Village, which was created by Murchison's Centex, his journey allegedly has taken some strange sidetreks. What he was thinking and how he got to that motel in Miami remains a mystery.

Maybe everything is connected, but sometimes it gets messy. And does look like the inside of Arkham Asylum.

++++UPDATE++++

Huffington Post added the following details about the church that Weiler with which he associated in recent months:
A pastor at a homeless shelter operated by a church in suburban Kansas City, Mo., said Weiler lived there for about six months within the past year.
Doug Perry said Weiler showed no violent tendencies and was active in the group's food pantry and various ministries, but he was clearly troubled. Among other things, he blamed himself for his parents' deaths, Perry said.
"I knew he was in a bad place," the minister said. He said he last saw Weiler about three months ago, when he left to take a roofing job in Houston.
"We really, really tried hard to love Greg and put up with his sort of sullen detachment," said Perry, pastor of The Church of Liberty in Liberty, Mo. "We poured a whole lot of love, a whole lot of time, a whole lot of prayer into trying to help him. I grieve because I really do love the kid."
Perry's church opposes denominational divisions and advocates for one Christian church in each community.
"We're supposed to be ONE Body and we're supposed to be about JESUS," its website says. "We're not supposed to split off and let theologies and philosophies of Man and personal grudges divide us into little pieces."
Perry said his beliefs are based on Christian teachings and his church does not advocate physical violence or the destruction of buildings. He said it would not support any plan Weiler had to harm churches.
"We've never advocated any kind of violence at all," he said. "This has nothing to do with physical violence."

Minor update that reveals a great deal: As Red Dirt Report Editor Andrew Griffin points out, family members note in the Chicago Sun-Times, “I don’t think any of us think he could do this on his own without the help of somebody else. How did he do the travel, pay the hotels and buy the material?”

For more about this case, the Red Dirt Report will be following any new developments in the coming days. However, it seems to be a story that is disappearing a bit too quickly. Humm.
