Missing AirAsia QZ8501

The logo for AirAsia (AA = 11) shows the Petronas Twin Towers in their hub city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. AirAsia was created to compete against the established Malaysian Airlines (the source company for the missing MH307 flight - see below). AirAsia followed the model of Virgin Airlines who wished to compete against British Airways. AirAsia’s logo resembles Virgin’s, from its script typeface to its red color (which, one notices, is also reversed out of red to white, when appropriate).

An AirAsia flight has lost contact with air traffic control in Jakarta, Indonesia, a crisis center for the airline said Sunday. The plane's flight number is AirAsia Flight QZ8501.

Surabaya, Indonesia, airport official said the missing AirAsia plane had 155 passengers, 6 crew on board. The pilots aboard the flight were Captain Iriyanto, who had a total of 6,100 flying hours, First Officer Remi Emmanuel Plesel, who had a total of 2,275 flying hours, and Flight Engineer Saiful Rakhmad. The cabin crew consisted of four flight attendants.

The actual craft now missing, PK-AXC, involved in this incident, is pictured below, from August 2011.

AirAsia Indonesia regrets to confirm that flight QZ8501 from Surabaya to Singapore has lost contact with air traffic control at 07:24 (Surabaya LT) this morning. The flight took off from Juanda International Airport in Surabaya at 0535hours.
The aircraft was an Airbus A320-200 with the registration number PK-AXC. There were two pilots, four flight attendants and one engineer on board.
The captain in command had a total of 6,100 flying hours and the first officer a total of 2,275 flying hours.
There were 155 passengers on board, with 138 adults, 16 children and 1 infant. Also on board were 2 pilots and 5 cabin crew.
Nationalities of passengers and crew onboard are as below:
1 Singapore
1 Malaysia
1 France
3 South Korean
156 Indonesia
At this time, search and rescue operations are being conducted under the guidance of The Indonesia of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). AirAsia Indonesia is cooperating fully and assisting the investigation in every possible way.
The aircraft was on the submitted flight plan route and was requesting deviation due to enroute weather before communication with the aircraft was lost while it was still under the control of the Indonesian Air Traffic Control (ATC).
The aircraft had undergone its last scheduled maintenance on 16 November 2014.

The flight took off from Juanda International Airport, Surabaya, at 05:35 Western Indonesian Time (WIB, UTC+7) and was scheduled to land at Singapore Changi Airport at 08:30 Singapore Standard Time (SGT, UTC+8). The plane had been under Indonesian air traffic control when it requested to deviate from its original flight path due to poor weather conditions. The pilot had requested to climb to 38,000 feet (11,600 m) to avoid thick cloud, although the final altitude indicated by the transponder and collected by Flightradar24 is 32,000 ft (9,750 m). The plane lost contact with air traffic control at 06:24 WIB while travelling over the Java Sea between Kalimantan and Java, still under Indonesian Air Traffic Control, at normal cruising altitude and speed. A meteorological analysis revealed that the aircraft was traversing a storm cluster during the minutes prior to its disappearance.

No distress signal was sent from the missing aircraft, the Indonesian Transport Ministry said.

Two Presidents Have Died on December 26th

This is a dangerous time of year for American Presidents.

Former President George H.W. Bush remained at a Houston hospital for a third day in a row on Christmas Day 2014, after experiencing shortness of breath earlier this week.

Harry S. Truman (May 8, 1884 – December 26, 1972) was the 33rd President of the United States (1945–53).

Gerald Rudolph "Jerry" Ford, Jr. (born Leslie Lynch King, Jr.; July 14, 1913 – December 26, 2006) was the 38th President of the United States, serving from 1974 to 1977, and, prior to this, was the 40th Vice President of the United States serving from 1973 to 1974 under President Richard Nixon.

Gerald Ford died on December 26, 2006 at 6:45 PM, the latest in the calendar year a president has died. Harry Truman also died on December 26 (exactly 34 years earlier, in 1972); he died earlier in the day, at 7:47AM.

December 26, 1799, was the date for George Washington's funeral. Four thousand people attended George Washington's funeral where Henry Lee III declared him as "first in war, first in peace and first in the hearts of his countrymen."

Washington had died at his Mt. Vernon, Virginia home around 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. (reports vary) on Saturday, December 14, 1799, aged 67. His corpse was measured and he was found to be 6 feet 3.5 inches tall.

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4, 1826, the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. James Monroe in 1831 and John Adams and Thomas Jefferson in 1826 all died on July 4.

Millard Fillmore in 1874 and William Howard Taft in 1930 both died on March 8.

George Herbert Walker Bush (born June 12, 1924) is an American retired politician who served as the 41st President of the United States (1989–1993).

On December 26, 1811, a theater fire in Richmond, Virginia killed the Governor of Virginia George William Smith and the president of the First National Bank of Virginia Abraham B. Venable.

On December 26, 1862, the largest mass-hanging in U.S. history took place in Mankato, Minnesota, 38 Native Americans died.

On December 26, 1977, Howard Hawks, American director and screenwriter (b. 1896) died.

Louis Whitley Strieber (born June 13, 1945, San Antonio, Texas) asserts that he was abducted from his cabin in upstate New York on the evening of December 26, 1985 by non-human beings. He wrote about this experience and related experiences in Communion (1987), his first non-fiction book. Although the book is perceived generally as an account of alien abduction, Strieber draws no conclusions about the identity of alleged abductors. He refers to the beings as "the visitors," a name chosen to be as neutral as possible to entertain the possibility that they are not extraterrestrials and may instead exist in his mind.

The Beginning: Cop Killer Copycats?

"This is just the beginning. There are people out there who will want to be copycats. The tension out there is the worst I’ve ever seen it," stated a police officer, who happened to be AfricanAmerican.

In a horrific moment, two New York City police officers were shot "execution-style" and killed December 20, 2014, Saturday afternoon, while in a parked patrol car in Brooklyn, in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area pictured above.

In a somber news conference Saturday evening, New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton said the two officers were deliberately targeted. They were shot directly in their heads.

The officers were killed outside the Tompkins Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 2:45 p.m. Tompkins Avenue is photographed above, as near the site of this slaying. Tompkins is a patronymic form of Thomas, from the nickname Tom, and the added diminutive suffix "- kin," meaning near relative, plus the suffix "-s," itself a short form of "son." Thomas is ultimately of biblical origin, deriving from an aramaic byname meaning "twin," and was borne by one of Christ's disciples, best known for his skepticism about Christ's resurrection. Thus Tompkins means "twin sons" or "son of a twin."

A twin, of course, is literally a copycat.

Bratton acknowledged the danger officers face as part of the "thin blue line between us and anarchy....They were, quite simply, assassinated, targeted for their uniform and the responsibility they embraced," Bratton said. "Both were ambushed and murdered."

Bratton said the attacker approached the officers' vehicle from the passenger side and opened fire, shooting his weapon several times. The officers, Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, "never had an opportunity to draw their weapons" and were "killed with no warning, no provocation...They may have never even seen their assailant, their murderer," Bratton said.

The suspect, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, fled to a nearby subway station, where he was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Bratton said.

Earlier Saturday, Brinsley (pictured) shot his former girlfriend, injuring her at a Baltimore County, Maryland, residence, Bratton said. Brinsley also posted on the victim's Instagram account, where his comments indicated Brinsley had a "very strong bias against" police, Bratton said. 

The Internet postings appear to show Brinsley, who is black, wanted revenge for the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and Eric Garner in Staten Island, N.Y., police said.

Shortly before the shooting, Instagram user "dontrunup" posted a photo of a silver handgun with wooden grips and the caption: "I'm putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours … Let's take 2 of theirs. #shootthepolice #ripericgardner #ripmikebrown This may be my final post … I'm putting pigs in a blanket."

“I’m putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours ... let’s take 2 of theirs,” Brinsley, 28, wrote on Instagram. This alludes to copycatting and twinning, sadly.

The Instagram account is linked to Facebook user named Bleau Barracuda, who police said appears to be Brinsley.

Reports are that Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the gunman, murdered in the name of the Jihad. Ads stating such bias were to be seen in ads on NYC subway clocks, on the waiting platforms. Note this 23 Street location.

A period of police officer shootings occurred in a concentrated fashion, said to be attributed to Black Panthers and the Black Liberation Army, during the 1969-1971 timeframe.

Synchromystic Of The Year 2014: Alan Abbadessa-Green

The Twilight Language is giving its First Annual "Synchromystic Of The Year" Award to Alan Abbadessa-Green on December 17, 2014. This is an honor that will be bestowed upon a deserving individual every year who has contributed to the broad dissemination of a better understanding of the objectives and goals underpinning the field of synchromysticism.

"Synchromysticism: The art of realizing meaningful coincidence in the seemingly mundane with mystical or esoteric significance." ~ Jake Kotze, The Brave New World Order, August 18, 2006.

For those unaware, or reading about synchromysticism for the first time, here are a couple other formal definitions.

Synchromysticism: The drawing of connections in modern culture (movies, music lyrics, historical happenings and esoteric knowledge); and finding connections that could be coming from the "collective unconscious mind"; and finding connections between occult knowledge (i.e. esoteric fraternities, cults and secret rituals), politics and mass media. Synchromysticism is a portmanteau of the words "synchronicity" and "mysticism." A Synchronicity is a coincidence with meaning which is usually far less likely to occur naturally than typical coincidences. An observance of synchronicity is often coupled with a recent moment of personal enlightenment or great insight. A shift in consciousness of perceived reality will usually determine ones ability to see an increased number of synchronicities. Source.

Synchromysticism is a new field, and a few individuals, from Jake Kotze to the authors of recent books on the topic, are at the threshold of breaking new ground. Twenty top theorists on synchromysticism and twilight language were highlighted here. I've also  discussed "Synchromysticism's Godfather," James Shelby Downard, as well.

As I have attempted to explain in a piece on being a "synchromystic Fortean," part of being a synchromystic is to have a lightness about you. As I wrote, "I am not adverse to using a sense of humor in trying to find the keys along the way."

Jumping Deaths: Korn, Amber, and Onassis

Overnight, I received this tweet: "What's with all these people falling out of windows? Seems up your alley. ~ @consprcy_carrot."

Sometimes a little note may reveal a lot. Okay, I searched and found a few. Where they lead is surprising.

First and foremost, in the news this morning, is the suicide of Jeffrey Vanchiro, a popular Brooklyn Nets fan, who died Sunday, December 14, 2014, night from injuries he sustained when he jumped out of a second-story window at his father's house in Flushing, Queens, on Saturday night, December 13th.

Vanchiro, commonly known as Jeffrey Gamblero, was 38. He was one of the most active graffiti artist in the late 1990s under the alias "Korn." (Below is an example of his craft.)

Vanchiro/Gamblero is to be recalled as the one-legged man who was unceremoniously ejected from Madison Square Garden during a Knicks-Nets game in early December.

Those close to Vanchiro stated that the ejection took a serious toll on the 38-year-old’s mental health. 

“He was paranoid. He was erratic,” a friend told New York Daily News. “He was frightened. He was horrified. He was a bit delusional. He was having a lot of trouble sleeping. He couldn’t sleep at all. When he would sleep, or try to sleep, it would only take about 10 or 15 minutes before he would jump up screaming covered in sweat.”

Another jumping death that happened on Saturday night, December 13, 2014, involved a woman leaping from the 10th Street Bridge, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Allegheny County medical examiner’s office has identified the woman as Amber Woodhouse, 24, of Lebanon. She fell into traffic lanes of I-376 and was killed.

Pittsburgh police said the woman apparently jumped from the 10th Street Bridge, landed on the Parkway East, and was struck by oncoming traffic, shortly after 7:00 p.m. She was pronounced dead at 7:33 p.m., according to the supervisor with the medical examiner’s office.

A witness told police the person had been hanging onto the bridge railing before releasing her grip and falling to her death.

Word of a third jumping death brings with it news from the names tied to the Gemstone stories.

Athina Onassis's horse was killed after a rare show-jumping accident on Thursday evening, December 11, 2014, at the Credit Suisse Grand Prix event in Geneva, Switzerland. The French-Greek heiress, who was riding the 11-year-old mare Camille Z, was unharmed, local news reports say. Yes, an 11 year-old horse dies on the 11th, in the Year of the Horse.

Onassis, 29, and Camille Z were competing in front of a full arena. After failing to successfully clear an oxer – a show-jumping obstacle that is both tall and wide – Onassis was thrown and her horse suffered a break in its rear leg.

According to the Tribune de Geneve, it required 45 minutes for teams to tranquilize the animal and remove it by ambulance to a veterinary facility where, after an examination, the decision was made to euthanize the animal.

A competition jumper since her teens, Onassis has been riding Camille Z in competition since 2013. The heiress and her husband, Brazil's four-time Olympic rider Alvaro "Doda" Affonso de Miranda Neto, travel the show-jumping circuit year-round while maintaining homes and stables in Sao Paolo, Florida and Belgium. The only child of Christina Onassis, Onassis inherited the greater portion of her grandfather's Aristotle Onassis's fortune following her mother's 1988 death.

At that time, Athina was 3 years old and her inheritance was believed to have been in excess of $1 billion. Fighting over control of the inheritance was a source of legal dispute for two decades, leaving Onassis, it has been said, with much antipathy towards all things Greek.

In April, 2013, she attempted to sell off Skorpios, her family's private island where her grandfather married Jacqueline Kennedy in October 1968.

Mainly known as the private island of the late Greek shipping billionaire Aristotle Onassis, Skorpios was bought in 1962 for 3 million Greek Drachmas. It was the site of his wedding to former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy on October 20, 1968 which brought the island onto international spotlight. The media went crazy for both the celebrity couple and the idea of private islands, and owning one quickly became the highest symbol of wealth and status. 

Skorpios (which means "scorpion") is tied to conspiracy theories involving JFK, Howard Hughes, and Aristotle Onassis. The document, The Gemstone File portrays Onassis as the main force behind the election of John F. Kennedy as President, and subsequently, Kennedy's assassination in 1963.

Furthermore, Ian Fleming's book, Diamonds Are Forever, is an overt fictional revealing of the covert Gemstone File. At its core, it is about James Bond observing the faking of the Apollo Moon missions while in the secret NASA base outside of Las Vegas. It is also about the use of diamonds to make a space-based laser system, one that could project holographic images into the sky. From the Gateway Arch to the Khyber Pass Gateway

The Gateway to the Khyber Pass, at Peshawar, is an archway to a mountain pass linking Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Pass was an integral part of the ancient Silk Road and throughout history, it has been an important trade route between Central Asia and South Asia and a strategic military location. It also lies at the end of the Grand Trunk Road.

The heart of Khyber Pakhtonkhwa was initially termed “Pushpapura” and means "the city of flora." Peshawar is sited on the boundary of South Asia and Central Asia and become the business center of South Asia. Peshawar is also known as “The City of Frontier” because the city that link the Afghanistan and Pakistan through the Khyber Pass. Peshawar is the commercial center of the Pakistan based, in part, on their connection to its unique food industry and home of textile, silk, carpets and other items.

From the Gateway Arch to the Khyber Pass Gateway, the thread of destruction of human life continues. We living in times of violence.

The Taliban stormed a military-run school in northwest Pakistan, gunning down and killing at least 141 people -- most of them children -- in one of the bloodiest attacks in the country's history.

The Army Public School is located at Warsak Road near Cantonment, Peshawar, which is part of Army Public Schools & Colleges System that runs 146 schools in Pakistan.

The attack began at around noon when seven gunmen, dressed in uniforms of the Pakistani Frontier Corps, entered the school from the back through a cemetery adjacent to the school, after scaling its walls. Before entering the school the gunmen set fire to vehicles, then indiscriminately opened fire with automatic weapons in the central auditorium of the school, where children were gathered for a school function.

The Pakistani Taliban killed 141 people, including 132 children, in an attack on an army run school in Peshawar, a city in the country’s north-west. The attack was the deadliest in Pakistan’s history.

All of the militants in the school attack in northwest Pakistan have been killed, a Peshawar police official says.

Pakistan’s Major General Asim Bajwa says there were seven militants, all wearing suicide jackets, and that several special forces soldiers were wounded in the fighting.

“The terrorists used a ladder to cross the school walls from the graveyard behind the school. The terrorists and the Pakistani army fought in the administrative block of the school.”

He says 960 students and staff were saved in the rescue operation, and that 121 children were wounded during the attack.

Peshawar is situated in a large valley near the eastern end of the Khyber

Pass.

In 2002, Osama bin Laden slipped into Pakistan. He then lived in at least

five different places including Peshawar before finally settling down in

Abbottabad in 2005. It was there where he was eventually killed by US Navy

SEALs in a covert raid begun on May 1, 2011. The official death date for

Osama bin Laden is given as May 2, 2011.

The operation, code named Zero Dark Thirty, and used as the title of a

famed film on the event, was defined as "a military term for 30 minutes

after midnight, and it refers also to the darkness and secrecy that

cloaked the entire decade-long mission."

The raid was completed shortly after 1am local time when he was shot once

in the chest and once in the head by a Navy Seal who announced, "For God

and country Geronimo, Geronimo, Geronimo," because Geronimo was the

code-name given to the al-Qaeda leader.

Sheikh Haron, Self-Styled Black Magician, Slain as Sydney Siege Ends; Two Hostages Die

Good defeats Evil is the metaphor of Archibald Fountain's sculpture, located near the Lindt Cafe, Sydney, Australia.

The siege in Sydney is over, with the alleged gunman Sheikh Haron dead, and some of the hostages, apparently, as well. Seventeen hostages were involved. Two hostages died and the gunman too. One police officer was slightly injured.

I posted last night on the "Oz's Lindt Chocolate Cafe Hostage Situation." This is an update of the situation.

The situation seemed to be getting to a dangerous point of no return. Gun shots were heard. One of the hostages (allegedly) had made signs "running her thumb across her throat" in a chilling gesture during the Martin Place siege.

The Flag:

Held up in the window was a specific flag seen before.

The black flag used bore the white Arabic text of the "shahada," the basic statement of the Islamic faith. It is used by jihadist groups worldwide. The statement on the flag translates as, "There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger."

Gunfire could be heard in the vicinity of the cafe in Sydney. Reportedly, seven people have have been shot, and, at least, two have died.

The man who has held hostages in a Sydney, Australia, cafe for nearly 16 hours was Man Haron Monis, and he is reported to have been killed in the exchange.

He's also known as Sheikh Haron, a self-styled Muslim cleric, who pleaded guilty last year to writing offensive letters to the families of deceased Australian service members.

For that, Haron received 300 hours of community service, the Weekend Australian reported.

Name Change: Sheikh Haron is an Australian Muslim cleric originally from Iran. Haron was born Manteghi Bourjerdi in Iran where, as an ayatollah, his liberal interpretation of Islam led to the detention of his wife and children. Bourjerdi fled Iran to Australia in 1996 as a refugee, and changed his name to Man Haron Monis, assuming the title of Sheikh Haron.

On December 16, 2014, Haron was identified in media reports as the person who took hostages in a siege at the Lindt Chocolate Cafe in Sydney.

The chosen name of this individual includes "Haron," which means "mountain of strength."

The name "Monis" has roots in "monish," which means "to admonish," "to warn." This derives from the Latin monēre, "to warn."

Sex Offender: In April 2014, the self-proclaimed Muslim sheikh was charged with sexually assaulting a woman while posing as a "spiritual healer."
Mohammad Hassan Manteghi, also known as Sheik Haron and Man Haron Monis, appeared in Kogarah Local Court April 14, 2014, charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of indecent assault. It is alleged he assaulted the woman at Wentworthville in the city's west in August 2002. Police say the woman, who was 27 at the time, met Manteghi after responding to an advertisement offering "spiritual consultation" in a community newspaper.

He allegedly claimed to be an expert in astrology, numerology, meditation and black magic. (Please note, "Sheik Haron" was self-styled, apparently, as an occult expert for the purpose of sexually assaulting women.)

Detective Inspector Michael Haddow says their investigations have revealed advertisements about the healing centre were placed in Fijian, Chinese, Macedonian, Indian and Spanish local newspapers between 2000 and 2002.
Police allege the first time the woman was indecently assaulted when she met Manteghi at his business on Station Street.
Detectives says when they met again about a week later Manteghi indecently and sexually assaulted the woman under the guise of a spiritual healing technique.
Manteghi allegedly told the woman not to tell anyone what happened. Source.

Murder?: On November 15, 2013, Haron was charged by NSW Police with being an accessory before and after the fact to the murder of Noleen Hayson Pal, allegedly stabbed and set alight in a Werrington apartment stairwell on April 21, 2013. His partner Amirah Droudis, was formally charged with Pal's murder. Pal was Haron's ex-wife.
On December 12, 2013, Haron and Amirah were given bail at Penrith Local Court. Magistrate Darryl Pearce said there wew significant flaws in the Crown's case against the pair. "It is a weak case'" he said. Prosecutor Brian Royce said Monis' claims the Iranian Secret Police and ASIO were trying to frame him for the murder was fanciful. Magistrate Pearce said all theories needed to be examined.
On January 22, 2014, Haron told magistrate Joan Baptie that he was representing himself and proceeded to talk about documents ASIO has on him that he wanted to see. He told the court he has been charged in connection to the murder of his ex-wife because ASIO is conspiring against him to have him jailed. But Magistrate Baptie told him she cannot order ASIO to release documents about him. Haron stood outside the Parramatta Local Court wearing chains and holding a sign claiming he has been tortured in jail. He said: "This is not a criminal case. This is a political case." Source.
